The Vision
From the outset, the brief focused on creating a kitchen that would become the natural centre of the home. A place for busy mornings, family meals, entertaining friends, and everything in between.
Every design decision was driven by longevity. Rather than following trends, the aim was to create a space with enduring appeal, balancing refined craftsmanship with modern functionality.
Alongside the main kitchen, a dedicated utility room was designed to provide discreet, hard-working storage, allowing the principal living space to remain beautifully uncluttered.
The Design Process
Built from our Signature Skinny Shaker collection, the kitchen celebrates elegant proportions and meticulous detailing. Slim shaker frames create a lighter, more contemporary interpretation of traditional cabinetry, while handcrafted construction ensures every element feels substantial and enduring.
The island forms the centrepiece of the room, finished in The Ranger, creating a subtle contrast against the perimeter cabinetry painted in Rolling Fog. Designed with integrated seating, it encourages conversation, casual dining and everyday gathering, making it as sociable as it is practical.
The adjoining utility adopts its own identity through cabinetry painted in Darlington, creating a distinct yet complementary space that supports the home’s day-to-day demands.
Inside, every cabinet is finished in Truffle Brown Davos Oak, bringing warmth and richness to the interiors while reinforcing the quality of craftsmanship throughout.
A Refined Material Palette
The design pairs soft, sophisticated cabinetry colours with natural textures and robust materials that are made to last.
Grigio Corchia worktops provide a striking yet understated surface, their subtle movement adding depth while maintaining the calm aesthetic of the space.
Throughout the kitchen, dark bronze hardware introduces warmth and definition. Hendel & Hendel Barrington handles complement the cabinetry beautifully, offering a tactile finish that will develop even more character over time.
Traditional craftsmanship continues inside every drawer, with solid oak dovetail drawer boxes providing exceptional durability alongside timeless joinery.
Thoughtful Features
While the overall aesthetic is beautifully restrained, the kitchen is filled with carefully considered details that quietly enhance everyday living.
LED lighting beneath the wall cabinets provides practical task lighting while creating a warm evening ambience. Additional integrated lighting within the cabinetry illuminates shelving and storage, adding both functionality and a sense of luxury.
The generous island offers comfortable seating, transforming it into a natural gathering place for everything from morning coffee to evening entertaining.
