The Vision
The brief centred around creating a kitchen that felt timeless, welcoming and beautifully connected to the way the family lives. The design needed to offer generous storage and practical solutions while maintaining a refined and elegant aesthetic.
Every detail was carefully considered, from the choice of natural finishes and handcrafted cabinetry to the integrated appliances and bespoke storage features. The aim was to create a kitchen that felt effortlessly luxurious while remaining a comfortable and functional space for everyday living.
The Design Process
The Boult Project showcases the versatility of our Signature Cockbead Shaker cabinetry, combining traditional proportions with carefully considered modern features. The contrast between the soft Cromarty wall cabinetry and the warm oak island creates a beautifully balanced composition, bringing both brightness and depth into the room.
The natural oak island acts as the centrepiece of the kitchen, introducing organic texture and a sense of craftsmanship. Finished with a Windsor stain, the oak highlights the beauty of the timber grain while creating a welcoming focal point for cooking, gathering and entertaining.
Curved corner units soften the overall design, creating a seamless flow throughout the cabinetry while maximising available storage. Bespoke bifold fluted glass doors add an elegant feature to the room, providing a subtle display area while introducing texture and visual interest.
A dedicated appliance garage with bifold doors ensures everyday appliances remain easily accessible while maintaining the clean, uncluttered appearance of the kitchen.
A Refined Material Palette
The combination of natural materials and sophisticated finishes creates a kitchen that feels both timeless and distinctive.
The soft tones of F&B Cromarty provide an elegant foundation, allowing the warmth of the oak island and the natural variation of the Verde Karzia worktops to take centre stage. The rich stone surface introduces movement and character, creating a luxurious contrast against the understated cabinetry.
Throughout the kitchen, antique brass Reeded Beehive Solid Ball handles add warmth and tactile detail. Their traditional form complements the Shaker cabinetry beautifully, reinforcing the handcrafted quality and timeless character of the design.
Inside the cabinetry, Natural Hamilton Oak interiors continue the sense of warmth and craftsmanship, ensuring every detail has been considered from both the outside and within.
Thoughtful Features
Behind the beautiful exterior lies a kitchen designed to make everyday life effortless.
A bespoke alcove has been created to house the stainless steel Rangemaster Elise Deluxe, allowing the cooker to become a striking focal point while remaining perfectly integrated within the overall design.
The kitchen features a built-in microwave and under-counter fridge, providing practical functionality while maintaining the clean architectural lines of the cabinetry.
A Shaws Bowland 800 kitchen sink is paired with an Ionian Bridge sink mixer, rinse lever and mini instant hot water tap, combining traditional styling with modern convenience. The adjoining utility space continues this approach with a Rangemaster Belfast sink, offering durability and practicality within a beautifully designed setting.
