The Vision
The brief was to create a kitchen that felt beautifully rooted in tradition, but entirely suited to modern life.
The design achieves this through a considered combination of classic proportions, decorative detailing and contemporary appliances. Nothing feels purely ornamental; every feature has been chosen to contribute to both the appearance and experience of the space.
At the centre of it all, the island becomes the natural heart of the kitchen. Finished with tongue and groove panelling to the ends, it introduces another handcrafted detail that nods to the past while keeping the overall design fresh and relevant.
The result is a kitchen that feels personal, welcoming and designed to be enjoyed.
A Palette of Quiet Luxury
The deep ‘Blue Willow’ cabinetry provides the foundation for the room, creating a sophisticated backdrop against which the lighter surfaces and decorative details can shine.
The worktops are finished in Absolute Marble White, bringing brightness and clarity to the kitchen. A classic scotia edge softens the worktop profile, adding a subtle sense of craftsmanship and completeness.
Against this, the antique brass hardware introduces warmth and tactility. A combination of T-bar and Kilburn handles adds variation and visual interest, creating a look that feels both timeless and quietly glamorous.
Together, the palette brings cool cabinetry, warm metal and luminous stone into harmony.
A Splashback with a Story
One of the most distinctive features of the Eiling kitchen is the Polychrome Delft Flower Marlborough Tiles.
The floral mosaic creates a striking focal point above the worktops, bringing colour, pattern and artistry into the room. Inspired by the heritage of Delftware, the tiles introduce a sense of provenance and craftsmanship that complements the traditional character of the cabinetry.
Rather than simply serving as a practical splashback, the tiled area becomes a decorative feature in its own right, a moment of pattern that gives the kitchen its own personality.
A Foundation of Texture and Warmth
Underfoot, Ca’ Pietra Provence Porcelain Talco flooring grounds the kitchen with a soft, neutral tone and subtle texture.
Inspired by the quiet character of rustic French interiors, the porcelain brings warmth and authenticity to the space while offering the durability and practicality required for everyday living.
Together with the Blue Willow cabinetry, oak internals and antique brass details, the flooring helps create an atmosphere that feels established, comfortable and effortlessly elegant.

A sleek AEG wine cooler is seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry, ensuring refreshments are always close at hand without interrupting the clean lines of the design.
At the sink, a generous farmhouse sink is paired with a Quooker tap, bringing practical convenience to the heart of the kitchen. A fitted chopping board and tray set further demonstrate the attention given to the way the space is actually used.
These details make the kitchen highly functional without compromising its considered aesthetic.
