The Vision
From the outset, the brief centred around creating a kitchen that felt connected, practical and beautifully understated. It needed to become the heart of the home, a place where cooking, gathering and entertaining could happen naturally.
An open pantry formed a key part of the design, providing generous storage while maintaining the seamless flow of the kitchen. Every element was chosen to combine everyday functionality with lasting quality, ensuring the space would remain both beautiful and practical for years to come.
The Design Process
The kitchen brings together two complementary collections from our range: Signature Shaker cabinetry paired with sleek Slab doors. The combination creates a refined contrast, balancing classic craftsmanship with contemporary simplicity.
Finished in the rich, earthy tone of Black Olive, the cabinetry introduces depth and warmth throughout the space. The design is elevated further through traditional in-frame construction, giving every cabinet a sense of permanence and exceptional craftsmanship.
At the centre of the room, a generous island provides the home’s social hub. Designed with an overhang for seating, it encourages conversation while preparing meals, enjoying breakfast, or entertaining family and friends.
Inside every cabinet, Natural Hamilton Oak interiors bring warmth and texture, reinforcing the handcrafted quality that defines the project.
A Refined Material Palette
The design pairs soft, sophisticated cabinetry colours with natural textures and robust materials that are made to last.
Grigio Corchia worktops provide a striking yet understated surface, their subtle movement adding depth while maintaining the calm aesthetic of the space.
Throughout the kitchen, dark bronze hardware introduces warmth and definition. Hendel & Hendel Barrington handles complement the cabinetry beautifully, offering a tactile finish that will develop even more character over time.
Traditional craftsmanship continues inside every drawer, with solid oak dovetail drawer boxes providing exceptional durability alongside timeless joinery.
A Rich and Timeless Material Palette
The striking cabinetry is paired with elegant Calacatta Gold worktops, whose bold veining introduces movement and natural beauty while creating a luxurious focal point.
Throughout the kitchen, antique brass hardware adds warmth and character. Traditional T-bar handles with matching backplates provide a classic finishing touch, complementing the in-frame cabinetry while enhancing the timeless aesthetic.
Every drawer has been crafted using solid oak dovetail construction, reflecting the quality of craftsmanship found throughout the kitchen.
A traditional two-bowl farmhouse sink pairs beautifully with a Quooker tap, combining heritage styling with modern convenience.
Thoughtful Features
Behind the elegant exterior lies a kitchen designed to make everyday life effortless.
Deep pan drawers provide generous storage for cookware and larger kitchen essentials, while integrated LED lighting within the larders and dressers creates both practical illumination and a warm, inviting ambience.
The island is fitted with a Miele induction hob featuring a flush downdraft extractor, allowing uninterrupted sightlines across the room while keeping the kitchen open and sociable. By integrating extraction directly into the island, the design maintains a clean architectural feel without compromising performance.
Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure the kitchen works beautifully, whether preparing family meals or hosting guests.
