The Vision
The brief centred on creating a kitchen with a bold architectural presence while ensuring the space remained warm, inviting and highly functional. Rich, dark cabinetry formed the foundation of the design, complemented by carefully curated details that would add depth, texture and character.
A bespoke drinks cabinet was incorporated as a key design feature, offering a dedicated entertaining space that could be concealed behind elegant fluted bi-fold doors when not in use. Every aspect of the design was chosen to create a kitchen that feels effortlessly refined while remaining practical for everyday life.
The Design Process
The Beckham Project showcases our Signature Shaker range in a beautifully crafted mock in-frame style, combining timeless proportions with clean contemporary lines. Finished in our distinctive Black Olive paint colour, the cabinetry introduces a sense of richness and sophistication while creating a dramatic backdrop throughout the room.
The design balances strong architectural forms with softer decorative elements, ensuring the space feels both impactful and comfortable. Careful attention has been given to every junction and detail, creating a kitchen that feels cohesive from every angle.
One of the defining features is the bespoke drinks cabinet, concealed behind beautifully crafted bi-fold fluted glass doors. The textured glass introduces subtle visual interest while offering glimpses of the cabinetry beyond, creating a feature that feels elegant without overwhelming the overall design.
A Rich and Refined Material Palette
The deep Black Olive cabinetry is perfectly complemented by elegant Capri worktops, whose subtle movement and natural character provide a refined contrast against the darker tones. Together, the materials create a palette that feels sophisticated, balanced and timeless.
Throughout the kitchen, antique brass hardware introduces warmth and a sense of heritage. The rich metallic finish softens the dramatic cabinetry while adding tactile detail that enhances the handcrafted character of the space.
