Corby Croft Interiors designs and builds bespoke kitchens for clients across Yorkshire who are looking for something considered, crafted, and entirely individual. Each kitchen is designed and made to order. Nothing is modular or off-the-shelf. Every element is developed specifically for the space it will occupy, taking into account the architecture of the property, how the room connects to the rest of the home, and the way it will be used day to day.
Across Yorkshire, we work on a wide variety of properties, from rural farmhouses and converted barns to townhouses and contemporary builds. Each requires a different design response, and we approach every project with that in mind.
In older properties, the emphasis is often on proportion, detail, and ensuring the kitchen sits comfortably within the existing architecture. In more modern homes, the focus may shift towards clean lines, subtle detailing, and a more architectural approach to layout.

Handcrafted Cabinetry and Traditional Construction
All of our kitchens are built using traditional in-frame construction, giving each piece of cabinetry strength, definition, and long-term durability. This method reflects established furniture-making techniques and remains central to how we work.
Finishes are applied individually to each project, either hand-painted or lacquered, depending on the design direction. This allows for a controlled but characterful result, where subtle variations in tone and texture add depth to the finished kitchen.
Every cabinet is made specifically for the project it forms part of. Nothing is standardised or reused.
Materials Selected as Part of the Design
We work with natural stone, engineered stone, and solid wood worktops, selecting materials that complement both the cabinetry and the wider interior of the home.
The choice of material is always considered early in the design process. In Yorkshire properties, this often involves balancing durability with visual weight, ensuring surfaces feel appropriate to both the architecture and the way the kitchen will be used.
Rather than being treated as separate elements, materials are integrated into the overall design from the outset.

We take on a limited number of projects at any one time, allowing us to give each kitchen the attention it requires from start to finish. Our process is structured but unhurried, beginning with a detailed understanding of the space and how it needs to function.
Design development is collaborative, with time built in for refinement and adjustment. This ensures that the final kitchen is not only visually resolved, but also practical and appropriate to everyday living.
