Corby Croft Interiors designs and builds handmade, bespoke kitchens for clients across North Yorkshire, working from our showroom in Stokesley. Much of our work is in period properties, country homes, and rural settings where standard, off-the-shelf kitchens rarely feel appropriate.
Our kitchens are built to suit the character of the property as much as the requirements of the client. Every project is made to order, with hand-painted or lacquered cabinetry, traditional in-frame construction, and a considered approach to proportion, finish, and detail.
No two homes across North Yorkshire are the same, and our approach reflects that. We begin with the space itself, how it is used, how it connects to the rest of the house, and what the kitchen needs to do on a daily basis.
From there, we develop a design that feels settled within the property. Whether that means a more traditional arrangement in a farmhouse setting or a cleaner, more architectural approach in a modern build, the end result is always grounded in how the kitchen will actually be lived in.

Cabinetry Made Properly
All of our cabinetry is made by hand, built to the exact dimensions of your space rather than adapted to fit it. We use in-frame construction throughout, giving each kitchen a sense of structure and durability that is difficult to achieve with standard systems.
Finishes are applied specifically for each project. Hand-painted cabinetry offers subtle variation and depth, while lacquered finishes provide a more controlled, consistent surface. Both are executed to a level that reflects the quality of the underlying joinery.
Materials That Sit Comfortably in the Space
Worktops and surfaces are chosen as part of the overall design, not added at the end. We regularly work with natural stone, engineered stone, and solid wood, selecting materials that complement both the cabinetry and the wider property.
In older properties, that often means allowing materials to sit more naturally within the space. In newer homes, it may involve introducing contrast or definition. In either case, the aim is the same, a kitchen that feels coherent and well resolved.
A Measured, Considered Process
We take on a limited number of projects at any one time. This allows us to give proper attention to each kitchen, from initial design through to installation.
Our process is deliberately paced. We spend time understanding the property and the brief before presenting a design, and we refine that design collaboratively with you. There is no standard route through the project and no pressure to move faster than is necessary.
